I'm really looking forward to seeing this film and was glad to get tickets for a cinema within a distance 10 miles for a change!
The main actor, isn't he the one from that Tean Agent film....can't remember the correct name of the film but he played a Teen James Bond Character?

Stormbreaker.

Let's hope his acting has improved since then.

Really? I'm I just very sad then as I though his acting was very good, especially for a teenager.

We're all entitled to our own opinions. ;)

I thought he was rather wooden and spent most of the film brooding and staring off into the distance. He was young when he did that so maybe his acting has matured since then.

More like Alex Prettyfer. I can see this movie as being totally epic with Timothy Olyphant in it.

I totally enjoyed the movie, was completely in line with my expectations and the IMAX really added to the experience. I was with my OH, two female and one male coworkers - all of us loved it (as I said we were not expecting to see any Oscar or Bafta material). Number 6 was badass, Alex Pettyfer was yummy, a great YA book adaptation overall.

8.5/10 from me

P.S. The soundtrack was surprisingly great! How cool was Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" during the fire scene? Civil Twilight's "Letters From The Sky" was very good as well.
