Well apparently, yes - if you can get a reply from them. But not only do I never receive one; no-one here has replied to my post asking how they manage this! Must be super-secret...
It is usually the cinema itself who give the free tickets in the event of problems in my experience. I went to see a preview once and the cinema had technical problems with the film and on arrival I was offered free entry to any film screening that morning. In the past I remember reading on MSE that people who have emailed the cinema chain direct have been offered tickets as a goodwill gesture. There are contact details i.e. address and telephone number for SFF on MSE if you want to ring or write in, rather than email. Post 1612

Thank you, susancs - this is really helpful. I've often wished I had another means of contacting SFF.

Tried getting free tickets for this film. Looks like a cool film. I will have to watch it when it comes out.

We went to see this last Sunday at Southampton. It was good fun. It was my newly turned four year old's first 3D movie and she only managed to keep the glasses on for 30 mins and watched the rest of the film without them

. I loved all the Elton John songs and liked that they got Shakespeare a part

. We will definitely go again when it's on kids club

See Film First came up trumps and sent tickets to me as a form of compensation/gesture of good will, for being turned away at the Tunbridge Wells Odeon...Big thanks to See Film First for resolving the matter so promptly!

Ozzy was surprisingly good in this, but Patrick Stewart as Shakespeare was the highlight for me.

slapstick fun, but nothing else. the kids may like it but theres little for the adult if you are all grown up, aside form 1 or 2 scenes.
Seems a shame, there is plenty of more room for adult innuendos and references in this topic, especially when you consider the painstaking work put into the animation, its not asking much to add an extra layer of suger a la Shrek.
5.5/10
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
