I've finally connedcted my Wii to the internet.
And I am so excited about being able to go on youtube and watch the random vids on a big screen!
I'm so easily pleased but it's fantastic! Haha!
Now to make a playlist... And bring on the party!!

Went to a corporate event tonight at the National Theatre with free food and drink, and prize draws. Going tomorrow to a Venues & Events show with free food and drink etc. (and it's actually classed as work so can go during the day, how cool is that!?), going to a Fortnum and Mason Preview evening on Thursday (free food and drink), and off to Oxford on Friday as someone invited us to a free dinner, hotel stay and breakfast next morning, and it would be churlish to refuse! Then next Tuesday there is an Indian buffet evening at a Restaurant. I will have more free food this week than ever before in my life! Must say, the Best of British Party thing at One Great George Street was the best so far. Can't believe I have been a PA all these years and only this year cottoned on to the reader events from the PA magazines!

Wow! Busy lifestyle ey!! I love food at corporate events. Last time I went to a corporate event, they gave some really delicious canapes! Lots of wine and beer - the men were glugging it down! I just couldn't keep my hands off the tiramisu desserts!!! Whats on your menu Beate? (I'm sorry I just think about food most of the time!).

Mostly canapes but they had some seabass tonight which they cooked on a barbecue and the OH liked it so much he had 4 (FOUR) portions, and also drank a lot of champagne. I don't usually take him along but go with a colleague instead and that is probably more appropriate but I let him tag along tonight as they said "with guest" and not "with colleague". It was kind of funny, the people trying to give us the hard sell about their businesses or venues and he was just telling them personal stories ("We have a venue in Scotland as well". "Oh I love Scotland, we went there in 2005 and....") :giggle:
