Got to say the set for Matilda is amazing! Visually it's very striking an I think it could easily win best set design!
I agree about the seats issue. Its frequently sold out or eveb when its not the tickets are quite expensive, if you want good seats. I was lucky, in that I was able to get a student day ticket for less than 10 pounds, but it did involve standing queuing for 3hrs in the morning...

Matilda is amazing! One of my favorite shows for sure. I got a £5 ticket without queuing but that was years ago during previews. When l tried again a few months later the queue was already too long at 7.30am!
I love the soundtrack to Book of Mormon and assume I'll love the show too. It's extremely popular on Broadway and always sold out, I expect the same to happen here.

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

They're actually releasing the tickets in batches for the London production so they can market it as sold out. The most recent batch went live on Monday iirc.

I am lucky enough to have tickets to Book of Mormon in March; a preview performance. Really looking forward to it. Tried to get tickets on Broadway last year but couldn't get them for love nor money!

I'm going to the dress rehearsal/fan preview of Book of Mormon on February 23, am well excited!!
raj, I was maybe a bit harsh by saying Shrek is awful it's only compared to your other options. the singing and acting was below average and the songs not very catchy on stage (except for the encore). Only memorable character/actor was Lord Farquaad who's phenomenal. Overall l was disappointed as l expected much, much more from the show.

Thanks for that synopsis. I am going for a £10 seat so its not really a major loss for me (even on my budget now!). If I like I can always catch it again.
My sympathies for the guy who has to play Shrek in that get-up, man that cant be easy 25 days of the month.
And now I am going to the Beatles (invite only) hehe so I have a spare £15 for something else! Wicked?

What day you going? as I've tried all of them and all come up with invite only? I guess you're either special or on the list?
