I went down to Knightsbridge this afternoon to meet a friend, and as we were walking along Brompton Road, the GUESS flagship accessories store was doing a fashion event for Fashion Week, and we were invited in, and given champagne and cupcakes. Then invited to try on the accessories, have a make up and a GUESS photo session showing off the accessories. I was then promptly asked to sign that it was ok for them to use my photo in their advertising!

At the same time, we learnt that there was a Fashion Show at Harrods which we promptly went and gatecrashed! Greeted with yet more champagne and macroons, and a massive heavy goody bags containing designer goods from DKNY, Givenchy, Nicole Farhi, Paule Ka, Elie Tahari, Urban Retreat, plus a voucher for a private and complimentary Givenchy makeover and a welcome gift of an exclusive Givenchy Brush Kit set.

It was a perfect afternoon rounded off with the screening of Oranges and Sunshine. I can get used to being a lady of leisure! ;)

I had my haircut yesterday at a salon in central London . Sadly he cut my hair very badly so now I'm returning so they can sort it out. Not sure I want to after yesterdays experience!
