Wow, just been catching up on all this week's postings. o/

There's some serious effort being expended and some great results emerging.

Well done to all of you but special congratulations to Stone Monkey for the weightloss, exercise regime and for signing up for that 10k race; to Biggins for braving the outdoor swiming pool and achieving that well deserved weightloss result this week; to Baty for the continuing exercises and healthy eating menus; to Moggers for the 5k plans; and to MrG for undertaking so much sport and for passing on his great tips and advice about healthy eating and training. (I was especially heartened to hear him singing the praises of vegetables :D ).

My own performance on the healthy eating and exercise fronts has been very lacklustre this week :tears: No exercise undertaken at all, and whilst I've eaten some good salady and vegetably based meals, I've also gorged on the odd cake, bags of crisps and indian/chinese ready meals too.

Needless to say I've ended up putting a pound on this week, but I've kind of deserved it so I'll just put it behind me and try and be better next week.

Keep at it everyone you are all doing brilliant!! :D

Preston1990 put last week behind you and I too due to a stupid headache haven't done any exercise this past week but no excuse for today as I feel perfectly fine.

Menu of the day:
Branflakes
Butternut squash, red peppers and tomato soup with spinach wilted into it just before serving - the veg is roasting as we speak and smells delicious :D Its from this months Tesco magazine - thanks to akh43 for reminding me to pick up a magazine (I'll see if the link is on line somewhere).
Beef salad for dinner tonight as this soup looks very hearty :D

I will do a Tiffany workout or 2 or possibly a walk in between meals.

Please keep posting and especially recipes so that we can inspire each other.

http://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/tomat ... -soup.html found it at long last :D

Have had to stop the painkillers as I have had an allergic reaction - rash and incredible itching, so the foot is hurting and so no exercise today. Will be hobbling to the docs tomorrow to get them changed.

No chance of a healthy option today either, had the grandchildren over and made cake(gluten free so I could have some), jelly & custard.

Made pancakes for breakfast - the GC love pancakes
Made a chicken dinner with roast pots & parsnips, peas and carrots mashed with butter, their favourite, followed with jelly 7 custard

Just a chicken sandwich for supper

Unfortunately they have driven me to drink.......now they have left

Hope you get your pain relief sorted Baty as its hard to function when you're in constant pain.

I have stayed the same weight due to no exercise and snacking on digestives in between meals :nono:
I have less than 3 weeks to go plus I have 6 birthday meals out and a leaving do plus I'll be going for our Manchester FMUK John Lewis coffee and cakes (If I walk there it balances out the calories) 8O

Looks like a tough time ahead Diane65.

I'm waiting for a callback from the on call doctor about the reaction to meds. My daughter decided to share the fact that she had the same reaction to the painkiller and to mention that to the doctor.
So, going to put the exercises on, via headphones, while watching Sorchi...so there is a silver-lining.

Porridge for breakfast & tea
Chicken salad for lunch or dinner not sure yet

Been ok calorie wise today if not the most nutritious choice but no exercise as it was a 10 minute turn around from work to cinema.
