Oh, as everyone else has said I hope you get better soon Diane65. As I remember a few people can down with things like that. It must be a hazard of the area. :(
Were you in marrakesh? if so did you visit the big under cover market - can't remember what it was called - The Souk rings a bell but I may be completely wrong. Anyway that place was cool :D
That sucks about mint tea I loved it and was planning on growing loads of mint on my allotment to recreate it but now I don't use sugar much so it just wouldn't be the same.
Maybe toning would be the way forward I am due to get a new training program in a week or so which will be based around abs and core work my instructor is just giving it a couple of weeks to make sure my back doesn't cause me any problems so I will see how it goes o/

Thanks everyone starting to feel a bit better now but feel like I've been kicked in the lungs and very thirsty still. It was the Souks where we were harassed but you may have had a different experience as a man.

Good luck with your training and I'll be back exercising asap.

Well, new pain killers and a referral to be made to the pain clinic so hopefully things can move forward. OH was very good and remembered more than me about the consultant. May come down to who will p*y for an MRI.

Any way, best foot forward everyone (personal pun), now back to the exercise clips.

Sorry you haven't been feeling well Diane. I know when you are under the weather you feel that you will never fancy food especially sweet things again but the only downside to feeling better is that you recover from that and the cake eating starts all over again. :(

Remember to drink plenty of water to help flush the bug out of your system.

Thanks so much - my lungs are still painful as in feeling bruised and still not eating sweet things (I hope this passes ;) ) but also not able to exercise as get breathless very quickly but it will pass just wish it would get a move on.

My heart goes out to you Baty as it must be so frustrating for you being in so much pain and taking so long :bighug:

Woah - Saddened to read about Diane's recent shocking holiday experiences, both on here and in the holiday thread. 8O

Glad that you managed to sort it out so that you still had a good time overall, but I can imagine that it must have been extremely upsetting at the time. Sweden sounds like a much safer bet - I can't imagine that sort of thing happens there.

Anyhow....It's weigh-day for me today and I'm pleased (and a little surprised) to report that I've lost two pounds over the week. Could still be on track for being able to do a JL visit before the month end. :cross: I do need to get out biking more though, and make the best of this glorious weather.

More salads for me this week - just stocked up on cheap veggies at Aldi the other day. o/

Be good everyone :D and don't overdo the exercise Baty, until your foot is properly better. :nono:

Well done Preston1990 that is brilliant o/ JL is a must on this thread ;)

It's Switzerland not Sweden that I'm going to but now that you have mentioned it another trip to Sweden wouldn't go a miss ;) Enjoy the sunshine on your bike and your healthy meals.

Diane, Oh yes :wall: sorry  ......Anyhow come to think of it, you'll probably be better off in Switzerland rather than Sweden if what happened in The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo is anything to go by

Well done on the maintaining Moggers o/ , hope you manage to shake off that lurgy soon.

Hey ho everyone....

I hope your all having a great weekend. Well I did my weigh-in today......not good.......2 1/2 pounds gained.........ooops. 8O
It wasn't really that much of a shock though. I hadn't done any exercise for 6 days which I need to do to maintain a weight or lose weight. I had also eaten lots of bread over the last couple of days (it was fresh homemade wholemeal - yum yum) I also had copious amounts to drink prior to heading to the gym yesterday which was an after thought on the day. I have been resting my foot trying to speed up recovery so did very little exercise - no luck so far. Next friday my target is 13 1/2 st - ha ha fat chance as I'm 14 st today :D :D   :D :D :wall: :wall: :wall: I wonder if hitting my head of a wall will make me lose weight

I hope everybody else is having more joy :D :D - good luck o/ o/
