Oh, baty. That does not sound fun. But at least they're getting closer to figuring out what's actually wrong and treating it. One of my best friends had her knee seriously damaged and had to have an op - she runs marathons now. Admittedly it's several years on, but the point is, an op makes you better in the long term. You have to remember this is only meant to be temporary.
When something like this happens, it's easy to justify reaching for the junk food - who would blame you? - but you know you want to lose weight even more than you want to binge and you're made of strong stuff. You have it harder than most of us, but that will only make the weight loss even sweeter. Keep going, baty, you can do this.
Full length mirrors are just cruel! Shop 360 mirrors are even worse - I'm sure they add 7lb to everyone.
I can emphathise with finding it hard to say no, Diane65 - I haven't had a single night off this week. Had my office do on Friday and yet managed to fit in a West End show and gym session on Saturday. Was so tired, but I knew if I didn't gym it yesterday I wouldn't make it this weekend.
Do you keep a calendar? I find I have to schedule exercise or it doesn't happen.
Come on, everyone. You know you want to do this, so let's make it happen! Every day is a fresh start.
