I really really enjoyed this, big thanks to yogi for the tickets. Thought they were all great, and really lovely to hear loads of songs I recognized (musical theatre buff here), though found it funny that in the programme they totally got the name wrong on one of the 'RENT' songs (supposed to be 'What You Own' not 'America'). I actually liked Kerry Ellis more than I thought I would, though could have done without her during 'Out Tonight', would have preferred that be done by the boys.

My highlights were definitely 'Fix You' and 'Til I Hear You Sing', as well as the Les Mis Medley, and also the fun bit where they sang a bunch of songs ('Edelweiss', 'Send in the Clowns', etc...) to the same riff.

Just wondering, has anyone seen the fifth man, or was he cut after they made the programs? Definitely wasn't there today and the Bombay Dreams song was cut as far as I could tell.

All in all a bunch of good fun. I went in knowing I had seen Lee Mead before (in 'Legally Blonde'), but by the end of the show I realized I had also seen Matt Willis as Fiyero the last time I saw 'Wicked', and David Thaxton play Raoul when I saw 'Love Never Dies' (I remember now thinking that Raoul was better than the Phantom). I would have pa*d for tickets, definitely. Wanted to just from seeing the posters in the Tube. Really glad I went, and lovely to meet Cliveas as well.
The 5th man comes in later and Gary Carter leaves - maybe he has other commitments. I'd not seen Lee apart from the Joseph show, but I saw Matt as Fiyerio, and the lovely Thacko as Enjolras, I was really hoping he'd sing that part in the show but he ended up playing Mario.

Did you notice that the programme didn't mention Matt in Wicked 8O

I wonder why they didn't do Fix You in the four part harmonies though?

Yeah that would have been lovely! I did enjoy David's performance though as just one person. Its not easy to do that with that song but he pulled it off.

I must not have read the programme properly then to realize that. I'm glad to have seen Glenn though...he's really talented.

I actually did notice that which is why I spent the whole first act just thinking he really reminded me of the guy from Wicked, and not that he was him! It was in the second act where we could see his tattoo sleeves that I realized it was the same person! What a strange thing to leave out, because to me that's a much more high profile role!

Saw Muse tonight. What an amazing 40 minute set they played. Played my favourite "Star Light" and finished off with "Knights Of Cydonia." A great end to the weekend.

This makes up for missing them at the Emirates last week.

It was, and they were mic-ing the audience as well, I'd guess it'll be released on the WWZ DVD or something.
