Attack The Block
Re: Attack The Block
the film is okay, not worth the hype around it. It is not something i would want to see again. Loved the new seats and leg room in cineworld Liverpool (thanks for the tickets)

Re: Attack The Block
I agree with a number of the more positive comments above.
I certainly enjoyed this - far more so than I expected & my son & his friend loved it.

Thanx Jordsmum. I agree with you on the new seats and do like the leg room, but still have a problem with all the seats being on the same level, as a shortie myself, if some1 slight big sits infront of you, it can annoy u/ruin a film. Still yet 2 meet u, r u going 2 Pirates and /or win win next tues?jordsmum wrote:Saw this at Cineworld Liverpool last night and really suprised myself by liking it. Film was much better than the trailer leads you to believe.
I'm not a fan of shaun of the dead or such films, but could find myself watching this again when it comes out on dvd.
I was accompanied by teenage son and his friend who also suprisingly found they enjoyed it, they initially thought it was going to be 'cheesey'.
Sorry that you were surrounded by popcorn crunchers Lite up Lee, I had to put my popcorn away 'cos I keep jumping at the unexpected moments
and was scared that I might choke myself. Loved the brand new seats and seating arrangement at the cinema too. Lots of leg room, we sat in a side row which are now nicely angled. Cinema was about 70% full.
7/10

Saw this at O2 Greenwich too (have never been there, didn't realise there was a cinema in the O2, how behind am I?!) Anyway, didn't have high expectations, but quite enjoyed this one and thought the performances were good. Nothing too serious but a good little bit of escapism with a few laughs perfect for a Monday! 7/10 from me.

Just went (pa*d) to see this. I thought it was quite funny but I don't think you can ever make a hero out of someone who mugs scared people with a knife.

Re: Attack The Block
Sure you can. Just have them kill a bunch of creatures that aren't human. That makes you a good guy and makes for a happy ending.tarantinoed wrote:Just went (pa*d) to see this. 102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I think point of that was to show that all people can learn and change especially if there only 15 and are not raised in stable environmenttarantinoed wrote:Just went (pa*d) to see this. I went to see this and thought it was amazing! being 17 and knowing people like the characters definitely helps. Think hole production was really good. I will definatly be b*ying this on dvd
