I've opted for Apollo Piccadilly Circus next week. Enjoy.

Re: Super 8
Manageress in our screening is so considerate. She noticed that a family hadn't taken a child seat so she brought 1 in for them without them asking. Good customer service eh

Send them an email and say how impressed you were with that. Always nice to get a rave instead of a rant from a customer.

Re: Super 8
This was fantastic. Full-blown nonsense of course but brilliantly done. Explosions, aliens, humour, funny kids with a Super 8 camera and a lot of movie references that probably went straight over my head. A kind of Stand By Me meets E.T. Not everything was explained, for example I still don't know what those weird Rubic cubes were for, and it's utterly inconceivable that a train that so spectacularly derailed and smashed, would leave the driver of the truck alive that went right for it. But hey, who cares. The child actors were great, and make sure you stay until after the credits as they are showing their finished video then, and it's very funny.
Super 8 gets a super 9/10 from us.
But can I just say that if you bring stinky nachos into a screening, you are committing a crime against humanity, so don't do it. I always have ear plugs on me but I don't want to have to bring nose clips as well!

Re: Super 8
I saw this at odeon rochdale i arrived at the showing at 5:50 and the screen was already open when i got there there was a big movies first sign with a virgin women at the door she then asked for i.d the first time i had ever been asked after that i then walked in to the screen where i saw a bag of popcorn on every seat which i was very impressed about after that i vacated my way to the premiere seats i was bit early so one of us went outsideto get some drinks it started to get gradually busier as the time went on and then there was a mad rush at 6:30 the lights dimed and then we had a virgin media shorts video after that the movie came on and overall the special effects were brillant and it was a really good film once the film had finished the lady thanked us for coming to the screening and to have a safe journey home overall a very good performance from virgin media as allthough the screening was virtually full no one was turned away or dissapointed i would give virgin media 10/10 and super 8 10/10 a brilliant film !
Did anyone else on here go to odoen rochdale for the screening?

Greenwich was quite full too. No free popcorn here but I heard that Whiteleys got some!
