All of Nolan's films have an atrocious sound mix. When I watch Batman Begins and Dark Knight, I have to re-adjust the volume levels of my surround set up, mainly increase my front centre speaker volume which usually emits the vocal dialogue. At the cinema for Dark Knight, I can hardly make out what the hell anyone is saying at the beginning of the film. When Joker reveals his face at the beginning, I never knew what the hell he said until I watched it on Blu Ray. But I adapt to the acoustics eventually as the film rolls. The thing is, they just dont mix the sound levels well. The music swamps the vocals too often.

So I am not surprised to hear about this prologue.

If this helps sway some people to go for just 6 mins (there are tickets left in Manchester, Glasgow & Bradford)

Tempted to go along to this, but just printed my ticket and it says 8.30, but email says 8. Anyone know which is right?

Obviously being half an hour late for a 6 minute preview wouldn't work at all.

there are two screenings aren't there? I'm sure if you turn up at 8pm they'll let you in then and if you turn up at 8:30pm they'll probably let you in too

Thanks. I've just looked back at original free film post and it's pretty clear isn't. I must have missed it in my rush to get tickets.
