Why the hell do they insist on doing this? Fair enough just after credits roll or while they roll simultaneously, but whose going to be looking at a totally black screen with credits long enough to catch that? Out-takes - fair enough - trailer to the next film - (heaven forbid, in this case) - but not random extras...it's not a DVD after all. Needless to say I missed this.

I saw it, you didn't miss much stuartboy. Only caught it because I was slow in getting my jacket on, we were just walking off when it started and turned around to see the brief scene.

It wasn't very funny, but foreign audiences will have no idea who Bryant Gumbel is anyway. The funny thing, is that according to Urban Dictionary, "a Bryant Gumbel" is a certain sexual activity, but I'll be damned if I know how Olivia Wilde's character would have pulled that off.

It really was pointless. The extra scene shows
Ryan Reynolds and Olivia Wilde in the bedroom, teasing each other (if memory serves).
I too was at Braehead last night, was a fairly good crowd in they all including myself and oh seemed to enjoy it even tho its all been done before it was still good fun did go a wee bit flat at some points and the humour was crude and trashy for the most part but still i had a bad day and was looking forward to sitting down, switching off, i dont think i could have been bothered last nite to watch a serious movie anyway and realy glad i went to see it made me feel good gave me some lol moments and a few giggles diddnt need to engage my brain at all. all in all i would say a 7/10 from me i would recommend folk go see it but remember its only mindless fun hehe!!

I saw this thanks to Mesa7719 for the tickets.

I had low expectations for this film from the initial reviews of it. Yes, it was gross. Yes, it was cliched but I enjoyed it after a tough day and was entertained. I did not have to think much during it and I did laugh out outright at a few scenes.

Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds were both very watchable and did each others switch roles very well. Leslie Mann did her usual typecast role. Alan Aarkin was woefully under used.

The gross out bits were gross but I did not find any of the nudity really added to the film apart from some mild titillation. Boy, I must be getting old to say this.

From the start you knew how it was going to go. It ticked all the boxes and the pace of the film was good on the whole. Not many flat bits.

yogi wrote:Terrible, I really hated this.

I can handle the predictability, the body swap genre is very well populated and Ive seen many of them, but I found both the lead characters quite unlikeable and the whole thing devoid of laughs.

Maybe I'm getting old, but the characters seemed to be going out of their way to mess each others lives up and the amount of unnecessary swearing, especially in front of the kids was really off putting.

Nothing had any consequences, deals were lost, wives upset and the whole thing just trundle along from point A to B ticking off the body swap staples as it went. When Sabrina was insulted then cajolled into the date I lost any shread of patience I had left with it.

Er, on the plus side I suppose there is a lot of nudity so one for teenage boys to watch out late at night when it gets to TV.
I actually thought that is was quite funny, I know it was a bit basic but I enjoyed it.
I didn't see you I was near the back sat next to steve and behind akh43?

It was funny in places, so I kind of liked it, but the humour, language and some of the sex references are not "up my street".
