yeah me too, it was quite a glaring blooper because throughout that scene the vomit was an ominous sight so its dissapearance was too noticeable!thedude wrote:Yes, I noticed that too!elski wrote: Also one for the 'movie mistakes' prog on BBC3 after she'd been sick they cut to a shot from above looking at her back and the sick on the desk mysteriously disapeared for a second then reppeared in the next shot.

Could be another one, or maybe I'm just being a purve, but quite obviously she wasn't wearing anything under her catsuit then when getting dressed in the cell she had a bra on.

Here's my review: http://wp.me/p1LZHn-3X
It wasn't horrible at least, but how very generic and vanilla.
Playing Zoe Saldana nipple watch kept it interesting enough, at least

102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Re: Colombiana
Entertaining enough and, for once, the lead action hero(ine) was a woman. I enjoyed the frenetic chase and parkour scenes through the streets of Bogota at the begining, a la James Bond.
Did the picture actually show the hand? I can only remember seeing her face as she slept, yet at the police station the scanned the hand as well. I may be wrong, though. Does anyone remember?Yinster wrote: Did think it was a bit silly she was identified by a silly photo after years of being undetected. There were even a few laughs. 8/10

Re: Colombiana
Yes, her hand partially obstructed her face. I hated that whole scene. Such an incredibly ridiculous turn of events that lead to her being found. What are the odds?cinefila1 wrote:Entertaining enough and, for once, the lead action hero(ine) was a woman. Ah, my memory is tricking me then, thanks! Yes, after a while I had to go into suspension of disbelief mode...soonforgotten wrote:Yes, her hand partially obstructed her face. Thought I was watching Thandie Newton too. Could have been much more, but it just did not go anywhere for me. 5/10funthing29 wrote:A formulaic action flick that has some decent fight scenes but fails to engage the audience. Saldana does quite well in playing the cold, distant assassin struggling to connect with her family and boyfriend. But I never really sympathised with her; her parents were murdered which traumatised her and she is driven for a desire for a revenge but this obsession is not explored enough. This narrow minded nature of the film meant there was no character development and the final act, when she realises the consequences of her actions, feels mismatched with the tone of the rest of the film.
A large part of the film is far fetched including the escapes and elaborately planned assassinations. As a result of this, I found it hard to take the film seriously and my mind switched off. It ended up as mindless entertainment in what is essentially a middle of the road film. Easy viewing but there is not much substance to this and skates by off some good action sequences. 6/10.
Totally agree with funthing and prettyxcool...it could ahve been a good movie and the storyline seemed to start of well but it didn’t deliver at all for me. So unrealistic and boring- 4/10
