I prefer the front, thought Beate had the best seats when given the front row at the premiere the other night. Who wants to see a film with a whole sea of people doing annoying stuff in front of you?
I don't like the front as I'd have to look up and it hurts my neck. I like the back in small screens but normally I prefer the middle for the best watching experience. I do agree it's annoying to have people around you doing "stuff" but whether you're at the back, middle or front there's *always* people around you and it's a matter of being lucky or unlucky with fellow audience members.

LOL no-one else sits at the front unless it's full to most of the time there are no annoying people. I slouch right down in the seat so it's a perfect postion for me anywhere else I can't slouch because I see nothing but seats & heads. Although Vue front row is way too close to the screen the other two are fine, in cineworld you're a whole bus length away from the screen.

They were the worst seats in the house!

Back seats are best always, even in such a big screen as the Empire. Especially in such a big screen as the Empire!

Luckily we all like (kind of) different things, else we'd all be sitting on top of each other! The back row is always the most popular. I tend to find it full of teenagers (god, I think I'm ageing)...

Me too, because you also get the best out of the surround accoustics at the Empire. However, the seating is not staggered as well as these newer multiplexes so there are more chances of heads blocking your view. The back seats tend to be more raised.

When I say middle, I mean middle of the staggered bit! :p I refuse to sit in the "stalls" of the Empire as all the seats are on one level there for some reason.

Don't know where you're wandering to (back row?) but if they say they will take phones away then they ususally do. Which means it will take longer to get in and I am a bit worried about us only being able to be there at about 6pm. (Unless they can't be arsed and will just tell everyone to switch them off).

they will, they did so at Ghost Rider.

AS for seats, at the empire, I like to sit in the front row of the back part if you know what I mean. Especially the bit with only 4 seats. NO one in front of you and quite often no one next to you o/
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
