This should really have been called:

Die Hard - With A White House

Good solid action movie, a little clunky in the CGI department as some of it did look cartoonish. Was surprised that Gerard's clothes remained firmly on and he didn't end up in his vest like Mr. Willis would have. Funny how that female hostage woman's dress fell off though.

Definitely enjoyable and ticks all the boxes for this sort of movie.

Loved this film! Filled full of action and suspense, I was engrossed the entire film. Great effects, and lots of hanging on the edge of your seat moments. Gerard Butler was so good too!

Odeon Westerhailes, Edinburgh was packed this morning with a couple of people even sitting on the stairs. I like Gerard Butler but hate the way he seems to speak out the corner of his mouth. Who needs superman when he is around - everyone else gets shot and killed with one bullet aimed a them but he survives!! The f word used a lot and agree with Stuartboy that it was like Die Hard but a fast moving and enjoyable movie. 8/10 for me.
