Hunger games meets Lost on high octane. generally really good apart from the fudgy ending, its hard to imagine the next movie will be as good if it has no mazes in it.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

The Scorch Trials is a race across a desert to obtain a cure for a fatal disease they've all been exposed to. I've read the book and anything else I might say is a spoiler.

Let's just say the Maze was child's play in comparison. You have no idea.

There is a prequel called The Kill Order, there is also going to be a sequel to it called The Fever Code, which details more in-depth Thomas's and Teresa's actions pre-maze.
There are some answers in the third book but if you'd more in-depth answers then the prequel series is great and equally as interesting! :)

thanks Maze-minions, for the info. I am now halfway through Kill Order. The well thumbed edition in my local waterstones, that is.

Although the stories are essentially the same, there are differences and a lot more detail in the books.
