GIven that hubby won't give me the LoveFilm password for fear of being inundated with romcoms, I did e-mail him to put it on the list. I have my fingers crossed. We've not had any films in ages though! Must complain and see if I can get freebies like Superhero did!
In my experience, my ex girlfriends always had control over my Lovefilm queue...wish I'd thought of keeping the password secret...then again I'm sure I would have been cleverly coaxed into surrendering it. Trust me, if you make an effort, I'm sure there is a way to pry the password off your hubbie :muhaha:

I'm just waiting for him to leave it logged in and I'm going to change it so he knows what it's like! Hahahaha! I'll probably change it back to something generic, but not before I queue a bunch of romcoms!

Oooh, I loved this. Haven't seen the film, perhaps I should. Let me know if the second book is any good - might try it!
I've read the book and watched the film, I loved them both! One of the few films that does mirror the book, It's one of my favourite films!
I've never heard of Lollipop shoes but I will try it!

No, I havent read any his books. They sound fun though so I may read The Righteous Men at a later date.

I'm now reading a Michael Crichton book called Prey. I was really sad of his premature death earlier this year, he was great at incorporating new upcoming technology into his thrill ride novels. He has a new posthumous book coming out next month called Pirate Lattitudes which sounds quite an exciting read according to some critics. Spielberg is already thinking of making it into a movie before its even released. Bizarrely, there's a video commercial which made me think there's a computer adventure game released simultaneously for it but its just purely for the book.

I'm going to wait for it to be released in Ebook form as I think I am done now with the days of logging a hardback around with me!

I have just finished reading Cecelia Ahern 'The Book Of Tomorrow.' It was a good read, easy to get through and understand, but me being the massive Cecelia Ahern fan i am, found it slightly disappointing. Normally her books are very imaginative and magical but this one wasn't really like this. It focussed more on the family lies and secrets rather than this book that can see into the future.

Still recommend it for anyone who enjoys her books. It's still defiantely worth it as it's better than most chick lit out there but just not her best.

I am about to start Wuthering Heights, i have been putting it off for ages as i tend hate classics and find them incredibly dull but i loved the ITV adaption and finally got a copy so i'm gonna give it a whirl.
After that i'm gonna read Marian Keyes new book The Brightest Star In The Sky, i love her books!!

Oh I love the classics - my favourite is good old Pride and Prejudice which I read at least once a year. I once told my niece who is now in her 20s that you can judge all men by the classics:-

If they are like Mr Darcy in P&P - he will be always do the right thing;
If they are like Mr Rochester in Jane Eyre - he will be the bad boy you hope to change; and
If they are like Heathcliffe in Wuthering - he will always be the bad boy you can never change but you would never want to anyway.

It certainly got my niece reading all the classics and she has even spoke to me about her boyfriends by referring to them as their character type!

My daughter is doing Wuthering Heights for GCSE and has just told me we need to visit there (forgot to mention it in September), so I will be there on Sunday not exactly like Cathy but being windswept/blown across the moors. If I don't log on next week please will someone try and find me :roll:
