My OH and I both really enjoyed the film.
I left the cinema in very good mood having been transported back to my youth for a couple of hours. I might even b*y the soundtrack if it becomes available. I already have 'Cherrybomb' on an old vinyl disc somewhere.
8/10 from me

I nearly missed this, as got the screening timing wrong! Thought it started much later, and OH called to ask where I was, and I was sitting at home enjoying a sandwich, thinking I had all the time in the world! :P

Well, I did not expect much, so was pleasantly surprised, and agree the film only picked up when they started breaking up! Yeah, I counted about 8 people leaving too, in a surprisingly quite packed Apollo, but shame they left before the film picked up.

It was interesting and quite entertaining because of the music, as I love rock. As it was based on Cherie Currie's book, it obviously centred round her more, but would have liked more about Joan Jett. An enjoyable film, but could have been better. 6.5/10

Lovely seeing ucakpam and bevvy.

I saw this at Milton Keynes. There was hardly anyone there and those that were quite young.

I quite liked the first 45 minutes of the film and then got bored. It was only the music that kept me going from then onwards. I had never heard of The Runways or Cherry Bomb - so it was all new and so I did not know about the future of the band.

There were parts of the film that I found really funny, but no-one else seemed to do so and I got lots of glares from people present!!

I did like the very end of the film, when they said what the main characters were now doing.

My daughter summed up the film in one word - 'tedious', but wants to get the soundtrack.

It is the sort of film to watch on tv, where it really does not matter if you decide to go and make a drink and snack/go out for a walk etc as you will not have missed anything when your return.

yeah, I did not know anything about The Runaways either, so it was a nice touch to let you know what they are doing now, as otherwise I would have been wondering what has happened to them! And probably googled to find out. :P

Here's what Joan Jett's up to... from a recent London gig, not much has changed and she must be 50 by now!

I went with fairly low expectations, which were met. I was not familiar with the music - not a rock chick in my youth - but my feet were tapping and I enjoyed the music. I was impressed that the songs were performed by the cast, and didn't sound too bad.

I was finding it difficult to figure out what 'Bella' was doing in there with people, instead of hanging out with the Cullens, but that passed after about an hour. The girl mumbles her lines a lot - would someone please give her some elocution lessons?

As a music biopic, it was pretty good. I learned a lot about a band I'd never really bothered about. It was interesting to see what Joan, Cherie and Kim are doing now.

As other people have said, too much time was spent showing how the band got together, and not enough time on the demise.

5/10 from me.
