Maybe I'm feeling generous after 2 so so cinema trips, but I loved this.

Predictable, but very well done, funny, heartwarming and at times moving.

Leads were great as were the fringe characters.

A big thumbs up. o/

So it was cheesy, big deal, who cares, I loved it. Predictable yes, but also heartwarming, and it was seriously funny. OH laughed a lot and declared it "brill". I didn't coo much about the baby but bloody hell did I love that house. Oh my God, how beautiful was that HOUSE. I have major house-envy now!

The film was ok, parts of it were funny and other parts were heartwarming.
Thought it was a tad long, they could have cut it by 20 minutes.
Sophie was very cute though! 6/10

I was also at a packed covent garden, lovely to sit with mcm and bf, waved and text beate, as there was a lady and an empty seat between us, saw ucakpam and bf come in and chatted to them afterwards, and saw tilly at the back, and finally lovely to meet soonforgotten at last! But what a strange layout of screen 1. The end seats were like in the middle, so if you were sitting in the middle of the row, you would be at the left of the screen.

Anyway, totally agree with your review tilly! But like to add that the recent rom-coms are getting so samey with a couple and a cute baby/child, that I was getting a bit bored. 5/10 from me. And I agree with you beate, amazing house, I was thinking the same I want it, and the mortgage was pa*d up!

Yes, I was annoyed about that empty seat, I didn't see it until much later (thought the girl was with someone who had just popped out) and there was an empty seat behind us at the end of the back row. The person who sat there just had his coat on it, even when the usher came round with a torch looking for the last seats! The back row is the best one to have as it's slightly elevated, but even the next one down was good as you basically look up onto the screen so the people in front aren't that much of a bother. Although I was kind of glad that I wasn't behind soonforgotten! :)

may be that was why there was that empty seat behind him! :giggle:

Thanks to cliveas I was at the early Covent Garden showing. It felt really packed and we were stuck at the front on the left. I didn't much appreciate the usher shining the torch in our eyes every time he walked around looking for seats and video recording.
I was expecting a silly and slapstick comedy but this was more thoughtful than I expected. I thought it was an awkward plot point to kill off the two best friends early on, and I felt a bit uneasy about glossing over that, but we forgot about them quite quickly because their characters hadn't really been built up.
The chemistry between the two leads was fab, and they were both attractive and nice characters.
The baby... so cute!
There was more depth and emotion to this than I was expecting, and maybe I was just in a good mood but I really enjoyed the ride. I laughed quite a lot and I also cried a couple of times too.
I agree that the race to the airport scene was a bit pointless. It made the film feel slightly too long and resulted in a race of our own to rush home in time for The Apprentice! When I filled in the SeeFilmFirst feedback form describing the film in one word I said "predictable". Even so I still enjoyed this and I'm surprising myself by giving it 8/10.

I saw you come in and look around! Unfortunately we had no two seats together anywhere near us! I tried to wave but I don't think you saw us.

I got sick of this and told the couple behind me to shut up after politely asking them to be quiet.

They eventually did. idiots.

I'm with you guys on this one. 5.5/10 from me. My bf enjoyed it more than I did, but he likes rom-coms more than I do (weird, right?)

Nice to see you again prettyxcool. :D
