Saw this tonight at the Empire (screen 2), apart from my neighbour snoring (and waking up at the sound of its own snore!!!) and few mobile phones ringing (wtf!!!) I quite like the film.
I found Becca and Jason's characters very moving and liked the idea of everyone grieving at its own pace with its own mean...

7.5/10

I think I'm a heartless, cold ...bleach  because I just didn't like this film at all. It was all too depressing for me and I just couldn't get into it one bit. It didn't help that the chap who sat next to me was breathing so darn loudly while he ate his packed mcdonalds :wall: 3/10 from me and 0/10 from my smart bf who had poker night instead

Apparently someone at my screening also had McDonalds. Next thing you know they will bring their 3 course meal from a nearby restaurant.

Really liked this a lot. Beautifully shot and incredibly well-acted. I found the depiction of people coming to terms with their own grief in their own way very moving. Both Kidman and Eckhart were exceptional but the supporting cast were all very fine too. The occasional use of well-judged humour was very welcome too, stopping it from becoming too bleak and depressing.
An interesting change of pace for John Cameron Mitchell (it's definitely a world away from Shortbus).

Thanks again to ejwrank for the tickets.

Saw this last night at Empire Leicester Square yesterday. Didn't get into the movie at all. Also, screen 2 is terrible, I couldn't see the left hand side of the screen as there was someone of medium height sitting in front of me! How irritating to have parts of the screen obscured by the heads of people sat ahead of you!
A 2/10 from me and massive thanks to milkchocmonkey for sorting out the tickets for my sis and I.

Screen 2 has those columns on the side that block your view too if you are sitting on the edge...

Went to a free screening of this last night. Wasn't quite sure what to expect but Nicole Kidman really manages to draw in the audience with her character from the very first few minutes - can definitely see why she was nominated for an Oscar for this performance. Plot develops nicely and reveals pieces of the puzzle as the film moves along. Certainly worth watching if only for Kidman's performance.

I was at a radio recording in a theatre in Hackney, the girls in front of me brought cheap chicken from Chicken Cottage or some such place. so the man next to her, then went out and got Pie and Chips. Eventually the door staff tracked them down and made them go out. Why would you take smelly fried food to a Theatre? Also had another girl bring Chicken and Chips to the Health Centre to eat 8O
