We're in the minority here -- husband and I both found this boring and predictable -- we were very disappointed after the great press reviews. Seemed like everyone else found it hilarious though!

I was disappointed as well. But we are definitely in the minority, most of the people I know loved it.

2nd day at Caught By The River. Nice music again - but just four bands this day! A bit thin by any standards. Pleasant older/family crowd though quite a few Geoffreys and Chelseas there too. Well it was in Putney!

Better organisation is needed next time in order to spread out the poetry and talks so as not to clash with the bands performances. Having a band hollering away in the background over a talk on the dawn chorus is somewhat unbecoming.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Yes, I saw it too. I agree it was very good, in fact, I 'd quite like to see it again.
My friend and I enjoyed this as well.
It was great that there was no faffing with intervals and that it was only 90mins long.

Took my mum to see That's Entertainment at the New Wimbledon Theatre yesterday. It was a glitzy, nostalgic review of songs through the 30s, 40s and 50s, with Gershwin and Rat Pack hits etc. Great costumes, singing and dancing. The average age there was about 102 and I can only guess how many thousand Murray mints or Werthers Originals were consumed but it was a gentle, pleasant enough way to spend a few hours!

Went to Keep Dancing at the Churchill Theatre last Friday. When I grabbed tickets did not realise that it was down in Bromley! Luckily my friend lives 45 minutes drive from there and gave me a lift, but it was actually worth the trek down, as it was a very entertaining night out, with special guests from Strictly, Lisa Riley and Robin Windsor. Good music and good dancing. I also liked that it finished at 9.30pm giving you plenty of time to get home if you have a long way to go.

The Churchill Theatre is actually quite nice inside and very roomy. Much larger than how it looks from the outside on the pedestrianised High Street in Bromley town centre. The seats are comfy with a lot of leg room and great views from the Circle. The staff are very friendly too.
