We just went to the supermarket doing some last-minute Easter shopping as they are shut tomorrow (means all the bread is reduced) but not having a car really has its downsides. I saw some lightning all of a sudden so said to OH we got to hurry home. We ran to the DLR but narrowly missed a train. The next was due in 4 minutes but the thunder and lightning intensified and I got a bit scared. Not without reason as it turned out. All of a sudden there was a bolt of lightning immediately followed by the loudest clap of thunder I have ever heard in my life. I screamed, the display lights went out and the approaching train stopped. The lightning had obviously hit the electrics somewhere close! So with the train out of action we had to hurry back to ASDA to catch a bus - I was so glad when we were home. I used to think nothing of lightning and thunder when I was younger, in fact I used to sit on the terrace and watch it, but now it scares the wits out of me.

Yep, glad you safely home too Beate, there's a different smell in the air when a thunderstorm is coming, can't describe it though and my friends are looking at me oddly...maybe I was a dog in my previous life.

Have no idea who that is but took a couple of pictures on brando's bike and shook hands with George Bush. I know its a weird choice but reason is I once had a bizarre dream when George Bush and I did a hi5 as we both managed to escape from an Earthquake and a warzone in Iraqi...weirdest dream I ever had that I had to get this one picture to remember it!

Geez syd, with comments such as those, you leave me with no other thoughts but to imagine you like this [WARNING: This might be a bit to x-rated for the majority of you so please don't look - it is only for Sexy Syddie]:

1. I wasn't the one talking about 'furry rims' and ' hot cupping'. In fact, I must admit that my innocent, catholic-schoolgirl, demure and delicate sensibilities were quite offended. Indeed, I was shocked, stunned, flabbergast and startled! :p

2. I would never, ever, wear that outfit in your picture!!! Also, just like Madonna, I'm a virgin. ~cough~

3. Fishnet stockings are so yesterday. :nono:

4. I prefer that in red n black. :p But seriously, old tee n shorts baby, that's my cleaning ensemble! Dressed in that I can guarantee that Hugh Heffner won't be inviting me to become a playmate anytime soon ;) I'm totally gutted....not! (cmon peeps, he's older than....... Des O'Connor! ..I was going to say Jesus but then I remember that I only just went to confession on Thursday.. )

5. I smell of baby vomit right now. Sexy Syddie? Definitely not! :X I'm patiently (not) waiting for people to get outta the bathroom so I can have a shower with industrial strength shower gel!!!!!!!!! ugh

6. At least I don't look like this while springcleaning! Image I'm sure he borrowed the earrings from Pat Butcher! And whats going on with his skirt? DIY job with a bin bag?

I heard that thunderclap too!!! It was shockingly loud - so much so that I actually screamed. Got a lot of teasing about that right after. Thunder and lightening don't usually bother me but that was so unusually loud! Glad you're home safe and sound. Your post reminded me that I should have gone to the shops to check out their reduced stuff - once got a fantastic decorated simnel cake that was normally 13.99 for just 50p. Score!!! Oh well, probably too late now!

Robert Pattinson (he's situated next to Russell Brand if I remember correctly and had no sign as someone had pulled it off the wall!)

I did a cheeky pose with Alfred Hitchcock due to how his hands were i just of stood with my chest in his hands   ...it was funny at the time anyway :red:

Glad you had a good time and realised (of sorts) your dream ;) :P
