Well done on reaching the 100 Club! Only a select few make it and sadly I don't think I will ever be one of them.......

Re: The Diary Room
Had an absolute nightmare day. First went to the doctor's to get a subscription only for the GP's PC to freeze before she could print it out and it took 15 minutes before we could proceed. Then went shopping which took ages, and decided to get some money out which is when I discovered that my debit card is missing. So OH went to get money out only for the machine to swallow his card! We raced home where we checked back accounts and there is enough in it so raced to the local bank to get some money over the counter - only to find they are closed already. Back home he phoned his bank and cancelled the card, and I phoned up M&S as I was vagely remembering having used it there last - and they had my card! Of course that meant a 2 hour roundtrip into town to collect it from there. I am totally knackered know and all I have done today is the shopping and some laundry!

Oh yeah and when I went to the doctor's she weighed me and said I had lost 100g since I was last weighed 6 months ago. Whoopdidoo. I said I would celebrate this with a Mars bar. She didn't seem to get the joke.

I am impressed that your surgery is open on Saturdays! We are not supposed to be sick between Friday PM and Monday AM. As for being weighed, I always decline the "offer". I say if it's really necessary, I will get on the scales with my eyes shut and they are not to tell me the reading, but they can see I am not overweight, so I haven't had to do it yet.

Re: The Diary Room
My surgery is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 5pm so can't really complain there. You always get an appointment within 48 hours although never with the doctor you want.
