I must admit I’ve been struggling a bit the last week, I had a long weekend in Dublin the weekend before last and over indulged a bit (I dread to think how many calories is in a Baileys coffee, but it was so nice!! ) I seemed to have completely lost the plot and thrown the diet book out the window!! Then last week I had a few big nights out, which was doubly bad as it meant I over indulged and also didn’t have time to go to the gym. I weighed myself this morning to scare myself into action, I can’t disclose the results as I’m absolutely horrified, but hopefully I will rectify it before Wednesdays official weigh in (Is it this week?) It seems I’m ok once I’m in the zone, but if I let loose I find it hard to get back in control, but I did learn a big lesson now I know when I go on holiday I must still be reasonably good or I will spend the next few weeks reversing the damage done on holiday!! 8O

Wow TheyCallMeMrGlass you look pretty fit to me ... :sunglasses: and healthy too :p What an achievement and what a weight loss, well done YOU!

I've just sponsored you and very proud to do so too..great cause ..that's you and the Asthma :D

Well done everyone else and glad you had a lovely holiday AnneJ ..don't be hard on yourself with the Baileys coffee, they would beat most of us :wtf:

I'm not sure everyone would agree with me but if you are hungry BettyBoop add more protein to your meal so more fish, meat, quorn etc ... i found this kept me fuller for longer, but don't forget your fruit and veg too, let us know how its going, we are all behind you...and yes in the Tesco queue too so keep an eye over your shoulder :D

Like Allsinging says, dont be hard on yourself. Just learn from your mistakes and that's exactly what you are doing, I'm impressed. I like how you forced yourself onto the scales to see the effects of over indulging. Just dont despair over it. Make your action plan to rectify and treat the last week as just an obstacle in your journey path. We all have obstacles that set us back a bit, expect it, embrace it, and be even more proud of yourself that you over came it and got yourself back on the health track! I also like how you plan to be more vigilant with your diet on holiday. See another action plan ahead, impressive! But enjoy holiday and relax, that's what holidays are for, be sensible with your consumption but go ahead and treat yourself too, moderation is the key. Well done girl, and if the week resulted in you putting on a few pounds, fine. On the whole, its just a spec compared to what you lost so far. Main thing is you back on the track. Trust me I have similar obstacles on my journey and have learnt from them...I still look back amusingly at the shock I had when I looked up the calories of a long Island tea which I had consumed innocently, the night before...

Remember, once a week we can treat ourselves, with moderation. And maybe occassionally, say every 2-3 months, have a nice extended treat, such as when you go on a weekend break, or holiday.

Morning guys

Hope everyone is well and enjoying some of this lovely sunshine

We hopped school yesterday ( ) and went to Flamingoland i used up some of my Tesco vouchers and took a huge packup to avoid spending any money what's so ever (always a target of mine when you get a free day) and achieved it :D

Fabulous day for the children and a Little overcast weather wise too, so incredibly lucky

Hope your week is going well everyone, allsinging
