I'm still catching up with The Event. I'm not optimistic about there being a Series 2, or 3, or 4..........

I've been rewatching Breaking Bad lately (hence the avatar) which is undoubtedly the greatest thing on television and quite possibly of all time. It's that good, definitely up there with The Wire for me. Anyone else a fan? Highly recommend it. Two months til the new season, this wait has been ridiculously long. Hoping for a trailer soon!
I'll certainly check Breaking Bad out after your glowing recommendation! Personally, I think Fringe started of great as it is but it just simply got even better each season.
That's encouraging, maybe I can get into it quicker. I saw the first 30 mins of the first episode and didn't think much of it but that's hardly a fair way to judge such a long series. It's on my 'to watch list'! Breaking Bad hooked me in straight away and then I watched it all in two glorious weeks o/

I watched my first film in an absolutely unjustifiable amount of time (due to exams), Let the Right One In. Superior Swedish horror which is deeply touching but also profoundly disturbing. Still, it's beautifully shot. A big 9/10.

Have you seen the remake? I haven't seen either and wondering which one to watch. I'm leaning towards the American version which has been rated very highly (something I dont usually do!)

I haven't seen the American one, no, but watch the Swedish one first. It's a masterclass of horror, and the remake is supposed to be inferior from what I've heard.

Just watched the programme on Royal Wooton Basset on catch up. So sad watching the families who have lost a loved one and the ex servicemen on parade.

Sometimes as the ex mayor said people just do what's right.......... which is why the town wish to show their support, and the parents of the Aaron who died on remembrance day interviewed afterwards felt they will remember the support they got that day.

Just awful the troops are there in the first place,
