that is a big generalisation that you do here...
personally my dad did not invite me to his wedding, neither did he invite me to his 60th birthday next week... why should I bother?
(I got my mum on skype this morning and wished a happy father day to my step father though...)

the reason i'm not ringing him is because i have nothing to say to him. i don't wish to lie and wish him a happy fathers day. when he behaves like a father i will treat him like one. He constantly hurts my feelings and never apologises. The only person I would wish to talk to today would be my grandad who was more of a dad to me when he was alive than my own dad has ever been.
