Southbank Sinfonia are joined by Andrew Staples, the tenor who won over critics as the Evangelist in the St Matthew Passion at the National Theatre this year, alongside Laurie Ashworth for a selection of bel canto arias by Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti.

Italian cellist Umberto Clerici, a prize winner of the Moscow Tchaikovsky competition, joins them for Haydn’s Cello Concerto No.2
