The body is amazing, because it seems to me JMD, that now that there is a small life to feed, your body is giving you extreme strict signals to tell you "HEY, need more FOOD, NOW!". Whereas before, the body seems to be "well,I'm hungry but if you dont want to eat, suit yourself"! Interesting stuff ;) What's your diet supposed to be like? Lots of protein and good fats? Or just lots of everything?!?

Well done for walking and cycling to work and shops, I'm sure that's still the healthy thing to do in your condition! But I am sure you're listening to the preggie experts, arent you :)

Alright everyone, this week is...have a guess...yup, weighing week! So step on the scales tomorrow or Thursday, and this time also measure the waist, hip, and height and plug them into this formula to get your body fat (JMD is exempt!): Some gyms have a body fat scales too, which you should use. And I know some Boots chemist have one too for a 50p coin or something.

http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/library/b ... ulator.htm

Then I'll update the chart.

Nope not listening to anyone other than my own body. Well, within reason of course. Because I am not eating things that are proven to be bad for the baby (oh how I miss brie and smoked mackerel!). Other than that, I try to eat healthy. Plenty of fruit and veg, wholegrains, healthy fats etc. But I am also eating just what I want because I'm struggling to keep anything down and if I fancy a cheese sandwich rather than a bulgur wheat salad then I just have the cheese sandwich.

Anyway, this is not the 'jmd1983 is pregnant' topic so back to dieting all of you! ;) I am still joining just not limiting calories. But eating healthy is important either way.

And here it is everyone, this fortnights FMUK Fat Loss Project Progress! I'm superbusy today so I'll be rushing through the accolades a bit, sorry! But huge well done to Annej who takes this fortnight's crown as she loses another 3lbs and has just fallen short by a mere 3lbs of her overall target weight loss before she goes on holiday. I say overall her mission was successful. As she's on holiday now, when she returns she will need to lose that little bit more and then proceed to maintain that healthy lifestyle and aim for new goals.

Diane, has embarked on measuring the body fat route, well done! As Diane is also on holiday too, I'm unsure of her up to date progress.

JMD is back, and is in fiercely defiant control of her health...brilliant :)

Alsinging has also lost a 1lb, well done :) Maybe time to change your program to boost your rate of loss and find that tape measure!

As for me, like I said, I am now at a point where I am not concerned with weight, I have pretty much reach a healthy point losing a further 1.5% bf and adding more muscle. because I am adding more muscle, my net weight is neglible. So its purely BODY FAT LOSS and muscle gain from here on!

This weekend I'm off to Oxfordshire on tour with my cricket team! So I think I can award myself a 2 day comfort days (with moderation). So its a couple more pints down my gut than usual ;) But I will still be doing morning runs and workouts in the mornings ;)

No more posts from me for 3 days, so everyone have a great healthy fun weekend!

Well done everyone, I'm really impressed with your run MrGlass what a fabulous time.
Well done Annej and allsinging. I'm afraid I haven't lost anything but will measure myself in the morning, I only ate healthy food when I was away but too much especially at breakfast fruit, yoghurt and Austrian bread nutritious but too much.
Even though my BMI is within normal limits I have too much fat
Sorry your feeling sick jmd1983 morning sickness (or all day) must be dreadful I hope it soon passes. :cross:

Well done everyone! Great AnneJ for almost reaching your holiday target!

Good on you Diane for sticking to nutritious and healthy food while away. A little indulgence on holiday should definitely be allowed and I'm impressed that you stuck to such a good regime. A little too much while on holiday, now back to 'normal' life. :)

Wow MrGlass, great going! Met and exceeded your target and still going strong with the healthy living. Impressive!

Whoaa, just came back from a great cricket tour in Oxfordshire and I had no choice but to make the weekend 2 comfort days! I er...got a bit wasted! But since I dont drink that much (just on Sundays with my fellow cricketers) I can afford this one off as long as I get back on track straight away. Had fun and thats important. Thats what holidays and breaks are for!

Have a productive and healthy week everyone :)

Just checkin up on y'all, hope everyone is enjoying the summer, perfect time for outdoor physical activities, wether it be fast walks, runs, or playing games with the kids, keep physically active :)

Just preparing for my half marathon run in september, so I did a 12.6km run on Tuesday. Aim will be to increase the distance by 1-1.5km each week. My Asthma UK team leader has told us all to paint our faces green (in any pattern)...so any suggestions? Kinda thinking the William Wallace braveheart look..but in green
