Morrisons giving away free MFest tickets

Just done my weekly shop at Hunslet Morrisons and was given two free tickets to the MFest (normally £49.50 each according to the ticket)
I'm assuming it's because they aren't selling, since the customer services woman couldn't say why they had started giving them away. but whatever the reason, it's a bit of a bargain. No idea if there's a minimum spend, but I only spent £47 and got them.
I assume it's only going to be Leeds Morrisons doing this, and possibly only that store.

Rio Occupation London will see 30 ground-breaking Rio artists occupy the vibrant streets, stages and squares of London during the London 2012 Olympic Games, working across the capital with UK based artists as part of the London 2012 Festival. Based at Battersea Arts Centre and performing in venues across London from the V&A to V22, the summer is here and the Brazilians are coming!
This month-long occupation kicks off with a big Brazilian party thrown at Battersea Arts Centre featuring film, theatre and music. So grab yourself a caipirinha, explore the building and enjoy the best Rio has to offer all wrapped up in one long party.
Rio Occupation London is executive produced by People's Palace Projects, co-produced by BAC and commissioned by Rio de Janeiro's State Culture Secretariat. The Rio Occupation London Launch party is produced in association with LIFT. Funded by Petrobras

Free Family Workshops
Every Saturday 14.00-15.30
Please note, there will be no Family Workshops later this summer (after 7th July) while we make way for Casa Brasil’s residency throughout the London 2012 Olympic Games. Workshops will return in Autumn, watch this space for further details.
Our regular Free Family Workshops invite families to be creative and learn together. Explore Somerset House, The Courtauld Gallery, Embankment Galleries and our events through a range of activities from painting and model-making to fashion design and animation. Each workshop is designed to inspire and encourage, to spark fresh activities to try at home.

Splashdance Weekend is the flagship Big Dance event for the East Midlands 7-8 july
Splashdance Weekend is a revolutionary take on the idea of dance in unusual spaces, with spectacular live performances, family activities and dance cinema across the 270 rolling acres of the National Watersports Centre.
Dance will defy convention across the Park’s 700m purpose built white-water course and 2km lake, in the region’s flagship performance by the award-winning New Art Club.
Their choreography will take inspiration from Olympic and Paralympic water sports and Team GB rowers, based around the 12 Labours of Hercules in a mad-medley of choreographed elegance and sporting prowess.
Visitors are invited to stay over in their tents or caravans and enjoy the full two days of events.
Big Dance 2012 is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of dance. Taking place across the UK, Big Dance will feature thousands of events inspired by dance. They will take place in all sorts of locations and in all dance styles which will all be open to absolutely anyone. Events will include classes, workshops, courses, performances, flashmobs, have-a-go days, film screenings, photography courses, competitions, world record attempts, dancing in unusual spaces – shops, parks, galleries, shopping centres – dancing in schools at home, wherever you like.

Celebrate the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee with a joyous new Morris and Maypole dance work.
English National Ballet and Historic Royal Palaces work with leading choreographer Simon Rice, the world famous Hammersmith Morris Men and Maypole expert Mike Ruff to present Morris and Maypole, a new commission to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee. Taking inspiration from Jubilee Dance, a dance made especially for Queen Victoria in 1897, dancers from West London perform a new Morris and Maypole dance in the beautiful gardens of Kensington Palace, as part of the free public dance event, The Kensington Palace Party. Central to the work is the Big Dance Maypole created by community artists from West London. 115 years on, see how far we’ve come and join in the Morris and Maypole fun!
