As promised, here's my write-up

I get pretty heavy with film theory. I apologise in advance. But it's a heavy film that requires a lot of thought. So screw that, I take my apology back!

Well for me it was a load of ol' bollocks frankly. A mindnumbing blend of shoot 'em up computer games and extended pop videos, it's just laughable. I don't know if it deserves ANY points. Okay one point for the special effects guy who must have worked hard, and one point for Abbie Cornish... so that's a 2/10 at a stretch.

And whoever it was that did the cover of The Stooges "Search & Destroy" should give up music. I'm happy for Iggy & co to get some royalties, but man that was just lame and pedestrian.

You forgot soundtrack points, dude!!

I'm giving megapoints simply for the soundtrack. The rest was a bit of a joke but entertaining enough imo. I just think it was a girlie version of kickass. GIRL POWER BABY!!

They were practically begging people to say something, anything, to the camera... very funny.

Okay that's 2.5/10 then? :shifty: If they'd used original versions of certain songs then yes...

Didn't think the Pixies cover was that good either but otherwise I enjoyed the soundtrack.

The Vue Omni in Edinburgh was full last night. Needless to say more males in the queue than females, but I quite enjoyed it. The music was good and I too had to laugh at the Lennox institution showing when they played Annie Lennox music.

A film for the males with all that hot totty ;) but it was never dull! 5/10

Is it just me or did anyone else think that Scott Glenn looked and sounded a lot like Leonard Nimmoy (Spock)?

He actually reminded me of Bill Carradine (RIP) from Kill Bill.
