Decadent Dodo wrote:Saw this in Norwich this morning. I thought a nice family orientated film but would have been better as a Christmas holiday film rather than one for the summer break.
I guess it will be the best of both worlds for them, summer break at the cinema, then out on DVD in time for Christmas.
Decadent Dodo wrote:A gentle reminder for everyone there this morning that talked through the film, talked on their mobile phone, ate pop corn loudly, munched away and rustled their paper nose bags to such an extent it was difficult to hear the film on occasions - that just because it's free doesn’t mean that you need to behave in such a disrespectful way.
I agree with you here, person next to us was on his tablet for half the film, which was quite distracting for the little ones when the light kept shining as he was moving it around.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Saw this at Metrocentre Gateshead and for some reason it was in a bigger screening than normal and it was less than half full.
Totally enjoyed the film and the kids seemed to laugh all the way through, a great family film.
8/10

Saw this today at a relatively empty Odeon Covent Garden. Better than I was anticipating, so I actually enjoyed it. 7/10

Maybe I was too tired or something, but this didn't work for me much, there were a couple of funny gags, but it's a cute sugary kids film and not aimed at me so... 5/10
