Re: The Iron Lady
I'm guessing no freebies for this in Scotland.
I'm waiting to see how big a release it'll get up here.
Not sure if I will use one of my remaining freebie tickets to see it or wait in the hope we get a BAFTA freebie at the end of the month/start of Feb?

Re: The Iron Lady
I'm going to the première of this tomorrow. I love Meryl Streep but I'm not sure I'll enjoy the film.
Film Quote of the week: "It's amazing how quickly time moves. Just yesterday, I thought I loved her, but now, I don't even care about her at all." (Little Manhattan)

Re: The Iron Lady
Just seen this at a packed Wimbledon cinema.
I had high hopes for this after reading people's positive reviews but I was slightly disappointed.
Meryl streep is a fantastic actress and portrayed Margaret thatcher beautifully. I kept thinking it was Margaret thatcher. I will also say that the supporting cast were also fantastic too.
However, I felt it was a tad too long and you knew every aspect so there were no drama. It was almost an obituary.
