my friend told me it was ok, but not enough dancing. so far i've not been fast enough to grab any free tickets lol

I don't know where you are based but there are soooooo many previews, it's a shame if you can't get freebies!

So the original Kevin Sausage version is on tonight? And to think Amazon etc are almost p*ying you to b*y it on DVD. Lol. Might give it a watch though to compare to the new one.

I watched it yesterday on youtube, and have to say that overall i prefer the new version. I think the older version feels too long but then it does have more of a story to it too. Although i felt more sympathetic to Ren in the new one, i found Kevin Bacon's portrayal better. And now i have the footloose song stuck in my head :rolleyes:

Went to see this again yesterday at Liverpool 1. Due to technical difficulties the film didn't start until 7.15pm and as we were leaving there was a huge queue of people waiting for the later preview screening that should have started at 8.30pm. So glad that I stuck with my earlier tickets now.

I really enjoyed this film even on the second viewing. Yes, it's silly and cheesey in parts, but meets the bill pefectly for light entertainment after a day at work. I just can't get that stupid song out of my head now.
