Sounds psychedelic! Sure you didn't have any special sweets before the preview ?elski wrote:I really liked it, still in the realm of Toy Story of things they get up to when humans aren't looking. I've never played on an xbox or playstation or anything and the only game I ever had as a child was a pacman and my sister had a Qbert bin which I coveted even though I'd never played it.
I got so hungry when they were in Sugarland that if ther ehad been a sweet stand out in the corridor I would have dashed out and b*ght something.![]()
We had some 3D trailers beforehand Justin and the Knights of Valour due out in the summer which looked a bit meh, Monsters Inc, and The Croods which looked really good.
Something strange happened during The Croods, a little girl ran close to the front of the screen running to get to her seat and as she did she appeared to run through the foreground rocks onscreen. So the 3D for that film was definitely working, I suppose if she'd stood still in front of it my eyes/brain would have had time to make sense of it but because she ran it really did look like she'd ran through the picture.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph
Nope, try it for yourself next time you're at a 3D film get a small child to run across the front of the screen.

I now have visions of people around the country forcing small children to do this! lolelski wrote:Nope, try it for yourself next time you're at a 3D film get a small child to run across the front of the screen.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph
Saw this at Wimbledon this morning with friends. Loved the idea behind it, it started off well & I liked the cheesy jokes...but it dragged for me in the middle & I found my mind wandering!!
Re: Wreck-It Ralph
Based on the trailer, I wouldn't have usually bothered with a film like this but as it was Disney thought why not.
I am so glad I went! I really enjoyed it, and thought it was a great light hearted family film. It was great to see some old characters from the video game world and I liked the idea of them all having life's outside the game after the arcade closes.
Yes, it was a simple storyline but it was exactly what I needed on a Sunday morning. 8/10
