Trafford Centre's film has been cancelled we were sat in the lovely Premier seats and were then told that they are were putting on Knight and Day instead but as it's not been too long since I've seen it I'm back home. 2 young men asked if we could watch another film instead as a few of us had just watched it but they said no :noo:

Well decided to go
home as it took too long for them to let us know when 'we' were going to see this film :wall:

How disappointing for everyone! I hope they offer a new date and/or some other compensation. There seems to be a lot of this lately, what with date changes and cancellations for Going the Distance and The Switch, but at least those involved some notice - this is the worst yet.

Well that's not good enough, and plenty of members wouldn't let it go at that. I think those affected should contact SFF (or whoever advertised the preview) to say politely how disappointed they were and to ask when (not if!) the screening will now take place.

I was also at the Trafford Centre, very disappointing. Was also there Sunday when they had to restart The Hole after 10 mins, maybe I'm a jinx!!

I asked as well if we could go into another screening, but they said no.

Worth complaining to cinema and SFF as I got 2 free tickets after watching a blurry showing of Robin Hood, again at the Trafford Centre. Think I've noticed a pattern. :D

I will take yours and Ms Thriftys advice and give it a go.
You must let me know when you are going to see a film again as I too was at The Hole and if you are the
jinx

saw this at a poorly attended metrocentre, sat in a row with preston, andrews and the lovely betty boop and mr boop- what a lovely surprise it was to see them again. We really liked this film, dealt with a heavy issue in a light-hearted way. Not sure it has mass appeal, it's more a bbc2 on a sunday night kinda flick but thought the performances were good and spent a lot of time tryin to work out where i'd seen the actors before. The plump middle aged one had me stumped for ages til i realised it was debz from eastenders. I came away feeling indebtted to these ladies and thought that was just my female perspective but i'm glad to report my boyf is also gonna burn his bra. 8/10 from us as i've come away wanting to find out more so that's always a good sign in my book.
