saw this 2day, 10/10 film of the year for me o/

great dialogue as is always the case with Tarantino films, and a fantastic blend of comedy, drama and action. Quite gruesome in places but it fits the overall tone of the film

We saw this at the dreaded Odeon, Panton Street in London and almost didn't get in. They were checking all IDs to match the ticket printouts and since ours came from a_person (many thanks again), we were told to wait on the side until everyone else got in. In the end all of us waiting did manage to get seats but the cinema (4) was terrible--even worse than usual as the air conditioning unit in the back was making a terrible noise throughout and obviously didn't work properly as it was very hot. And even my son who is pretty tall said he found it very hard to see as the cinema isn't properly tiered. And of course Panton St always smells like a toilet.

Four people around us promptly walked out after about three minutes (it was Tarantino after all so why they were so shocked by the violence makes you wonder if they've ever heard of Tarantino).

We thought the film was very good and there is a surprising amount of comedy and funny lines along with all the action and violence.

Saw this at the Odeon Thurrock - no id checks there, they didn't even bother unfolding my bit of paper to look at it!
It was packed, but not full and was unbearably hot in there from the start - no sign of any air conditioning being on in the screen - yet the corridors and foyer were very well air conditioned. I nearly left a couple of times because I was suffering so much from the heat.
Despite this, I enjoyed the film, even though it wasn't as 'over the top' as I had been expecting.

I won't say any more for now as I know a lot of people are not seeing it until tomorrow.

I'd give this one 8/ 10

omg I was wetting my pants at just the thought of seeing this and now they are totally drenched, we lurved this film, deffo a 10/10 from us. o/

Gateshead put this on in one of their big screens and seeing as I'd camped outside of the cinema since half 2 last sunday to make sure I got in, I was lucky enough to get one of the most comfy seats in the gaff. big thanks to anjirose for being a brilliant cinema buddy and nice to see bettyboop and andrews again, is anyone else brave enough to show their face to us???

anyway back to the film, it's fantastic, good dry humour, loved the hans landa character, and the time just flew by, I really didn't realise the film was as long as it was, it's a total must see from me, in fact....... IT'S A BINGO!!!!

oh and another thing.... the cinema was curiously not that full, i thought this would've been chocka, maybe cos there's another one tomorrow or something. even if this had of been in the smaler screen it still wouldn't have been full up. how well attended were other screenings ????
