Their feedback survey actually asked about why you missed the screening if you did? Was it snow? Xmas parties etc?
They must be getting quite a few no shows?

I thought it was pretty standard rom com fare with the viagra/nudity and disease subplots crowbarred in to try and give it a bit of edge.

The leads had a nice chemistry, but overall the whole jarred, like a bunch of different movies thrown together or an album that's been made by a band just before they split up and none of them are talking.

Its seems to have pa*d off though, both leads have Golden Globe nominations

Yeah and so do Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie for The Tourist. I think "pa*d off" is the operative phrase here.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I missed out on this last week due to Christmas do at work and have found out they are showing it at the Odeon on the 28th. A couple of hours away from playing with copious amounts of Lego will be just what I need I think and as far as I am concerned Christmas is not Christmas without a good romcom! We shall see!

As far as the comments about taking non-cinema food in are concerned, I usually take a drink and sweets in from outside and have never been stopped. I begrudge p*ying the prices they charge at the cinemas and have mentioned this on more than one occasion when completing questionnaires from Vue. It comes to something when you are searched and not allowed in with food b*ght outside the cinema. They should be happy that you are choosing to go to their cinema to watch the film in the first place considering the amount of cinemas in Central London alone.

Saw this at the Picturehouse Greenwich this morning as a members' free preview. Got a little speech beforehand and someone handed out small pieces of paper for us to scribble our opinion on afterwards, but I am afraid I forgot about it in my rush to go to the loo - I can't write in the dark anyway. She did ask who was a Picturehouse member already and not all hands went up which I thought was weird as I had not seen any code for this from SFF - we missed it???

Anyway, loved the film, didn't look at my watch once and was sad when it was over. Didn't think the nudity was too much or out of place, it's just a realistic portrayal of a young couple doing it a lot. I thought Jake Gyllenhaal (pwroar, cutie!) and Anne Hathaway had believable chemistry and the film was both funny and romantic, so yes, pretty good entertainment all round, if only the cinema had been a tad warmer!

More tickets appear to have been added on the "old" code for Odeons at 11 am on Tuesday 28 December. So not really sure where to post this as it's neither a new code nor a new date. I've checked "Wanted" but can't see anyone waiting for tickets anyway.

Was very suprised at the amount of nudity and how graphic this film was, but this made it more 'real'.

Overall an edgy, well-acted out film, however I do feel the typical holoywood ending was a bit of a let down.

I was also suprised by the amount of nudity. An OK film - i did not think that the couple had much chemistry.

Love and Other Drugs

Although this film was typical hollywood, overall the acting was good and I didn't think the nudity was as excessive as it's suggested by other posters.

Overall basic but nevertheless enjoyable as a simple rom-com.
