Think Ratty might have left the premises, its all gone quiet in the kitchen. Heard him about 9 o'clock under the sink unit, left the back door open and turned all the lights off. Its a bit like a scene from a horror movie, the tension is building, just waiting for something to pounce. Will let you know how it ends. Probably in tears.

Have got more tickets to see LAC next week.

I caught Ratty this morning, Moo got him cornered and I got trapped him in a plastic jug in the kitchen. I slid some cardboard across the top of the jug and carried him to the bottom of the garden and released him into the wood which backs onto the garden.
Yipee rat free for now.

Well done I would have done the same, now you can all have your own space and I'm sure he'll be happier in the woods!

I would also have done as you did - I could not bring myself to kill a rat - In fact, when the kids used to have them as pets it cost me a couple of hundred pounds just to keep one alive for a few extra months!
I am not so sure that ratty will stay in the woods though......

Last night I didn't go to Cold Souls because I had tickets to the Opera to see Turandot, and I had the pleasent surprise to realised that the artistic director is a dear friend of mine whom children I've witness them grow.
In the past I had see Turandot in Rome at the Caracalla Baths and I loved it but last night's was absolutely amazing! The whole concept was so innovative and the masks were just right. So I didn't mind missing the film. Tonight Bevvy and yours truly marched into the most disastrous mise-on-scene ever seen. I've seen school plays taken more seriously than this. It was Ghost Bus Tour. A word to the wise, don't do it... stay home have dinner early and enjoy the paint dry. You'll have more fun!
