Manchester City Vs Middlesborough (u21's) FREE entry Friday night at the Eithad stadium. 7pm

Come and watch City's stars of the future for free on Friday night at 7pm.

The turnstiles to the Etihad Stadium are set to be thrown open on Friday night to fans looking to come down and support Attilio Lombardo's side as they look to record their first win of the 2012/13 season.

It's a great opportunity for supporters to get along and support some of the players who featured for the first team in pre-season, like Denis Suarez, Marcos Lopes and George Evans, as well as other talented prospects, including Albert Rusnak, Adam Drury and Jordy Hiwula.

City got off to a good start in the new, revamped Barclays U21 Premier League with a 0-0 draw away at Chelsea and will face Middlesbrough in this, their second match.

EDS Coach Lombardo believes that playing in the Etihad Stadium will be "an important step" in his team's development, as well as his own.

"It will be a great experience for them and an important one for me too as I’ve never sat on the bench there as a manager before," he said

“Obviously the stadium won’t be full with 46,000 people like a first team game but it’s still an important step for them."

Head of Academy Mark Allen has also welcomed the move,

And guess what, the real Bloxx is a shape shifter and made from

You can be part of the world record attempt by adding your brick to Bloxx who will be visiting a new shopping centre across the country every Saturday from 4th August to 29th September Check Locations here
You can either bring one of your own bricks to add to Bloxx (they must be 2x2, 2x4 or 2x8) or you can choose one from our giant box of bricks. He'll be getting bigger each week as more people add bricks!

Open House London - free entry to museums, properties & gardens
London, Sat 22-Sun 23 Sep 2012

What: Free entry to 700+ London properties.

Get by: Ballots: Thu 30 Aug or Sun 23 Sep 2012 - see below.

How: Open House London is an annual event where usually pa*d-for or closed-to-the-public properties, gardens, attractions, museums and more are opened up for the general public to have a good nosey-round for free.

This year it’s on Sat 22 Sep - Sun 23 Sep 2012. BUT, the reason we're telling you early is that for some properties, you need to enter a ballot in order to secure free entry.

There are 700+ participating venues and with the majority, you can simply turn up, but for around 10% of venues you'll need to apply online for balloted tickets (one entry per Open House building, max four people) by Wed 29 Aug 2012. There are only 4,000 tickets available for pre-booked properties so go quick. Winners will be notified by email on Fri 31 Aug 2012.

What do I get? Free entry to grade-listed properties, offices, museums, gardens, attractions and more, such as The Gherkin in Bank, BBC Television Centre in White City, Chiswick House, Freemason's Hall in Holborn and Kensington Palace and more. Some of the balloted venues include Arsenal Emirates Stadium, Benjamin Franklin House, Royal Albert Hall and St Paul's Cathedral.

The detail: Valid for adults and children. Subject to availability.
