Poor Manchester United. I'm not a football fan but feel loyal to Manchester United as I live nearer to United's ground than to City's. :(

Commiserations Diane but Man U faced a team that is so majestic. Their football was just stunning, even more so knowing that Man U is UK's best team and second best team in Europe. Man U was not as bad as your OH says, they made mistakes but that simply came from the pressure of Barcelona's dominance of the ball. Man U can still be proud :)

Thanks it was Tilly's OH not mine; I didn't watch it I just read it on here. :oops: It's just the local team hence they have my support (I haven't got a clue about football)

didn't really care either way, i didn't even bother to watch it, but i always go spain over anything else so i'm pleased for barca.

feel bad for the real fans, but Barca have too many of the top ten world players, so no contest really.

There's rumblings that they should redraw the 2022 World cup bid, which Qatar won. Not that England will get another stab at 2018 just yet.
