Cool, glad to hear it! I'm sure there are more metal fans on here, they're just keeping quiet...
jcolombi wrote:And I disagree with your review on 'The Defiled', having seen them before, I thought they were good!
Admittedly they didn't get much of a chance to impress, and I'm sure they do indeed have many fans, but it didn't grab me yesterday. I was impressed with their gravity-defying haircuts though!

Wasn't too sure where to put this but the OH (Avisute) and I went to the Royal Albert Hall last night to see Swan Lake performed by the English National Ballet. I'm not much of a ballet buff but was amazed by it and we both really really enjoyed it. So spectacular to see all the dancers up close and watch their technique! If you get an opportunity it is definitely worth seeing before it finishes it run.

With a corps de ballet consisting of 120 dancers including 60 swans this was truly spectacular! Especially when all 60 swans are doing bourrée en pointe - that low drum was mesmirising!

Well, I am too, but I'm embarrassed to say that I only know 3 of the acts that you mentioned in your review.

Vision of Disorder. Sadly bands were only allowed a short 15 minute set each, so just as they got going, it was all over! I have vague recollections of seeing VOD at the Astoria in the 90s, they were good then, but were better yesterday... 8/10 for them.

I didn't even know VOD were still around, I would of loved to see them!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

A friend won tickets to Bill Bailey at the Hammersmith Apollo, so we went last night. It was a lot of good fun. They were recording the DVD, so giving away tickets in order to have a standing section at the back. Friend and I bagged a spare pair of seats at the half though, which was good as I threw my back out Monday so it was killing me to stand! All in all I really enjoyed it. Didn't know what to expect because I didn't know much about Bill Bailey other than he was a comedian, but was really fun!

I went to the killers last night
They r a great band but for me wembely stadium is too big for them
Seem them 3 times royal Albert hall (which was by far their best show and album)
O2 which was alright but just didn't get the concert happy vibe after last night.
Found out at beginning of their wembley show they just announced a last minute gig after wembely £10 on the door in highbury. Wish I left wembely and went to that instead. Would have been so much better in smaller venue.
6/10 for wembley. But don't think I would go and see them again
They did sing a new song tho. Tribute To wembley

Man, wish I had known, would have absolutely gone to Highbury! Saw them at the MEN Arena in 2009 and loved it!
