Re: The Diary Room
To be fair, I think the experience wouldn't have been so bad were it not for the constant laughter and inane remarks of the loud drunk woman sitting behind us!

Re: The Diary Room
That's a good part of the truth but it all went on screeming and shouting for the actors, there was no real drama nothing made wait or expect even though you knew it was all a game. I personally felt bored I constantly thought I could ve stayed home and massage my feet to relax. i didnt enjoy it at all.

Re: The Diary Room
I was glad to get out, having waited in all day for a workman that didn't turn up (that sort of thing always has me climbing the walls), but I know what you mean. Maybe we would have appreciated it more if we had followed that woman's example and brought our hipflasks with us!

Re: The Diary Room
I met the lovely Andrew yesterday in York
she's just like the rest of us down-to-earth and smilie.
Cortone met Andrews at the park and ride and I brought my Mum, who’s on holiday with us and my eldest daughter.
Thank you Andrews for such a lovely day made up of drinking coffee, chatting and watching George Clooney and Ewan McGregor in The Men Who Stare at Goats; great film and great company!
My Mum got a text just before the film as she had entered a competition while up here and had actually won
must be annoying to the locals
It was a large selection of bubble baths, Moisturisers, creams for hands, body and feet, foot set with those foam things you spread you toes into
all in a basket...and don't mum's make you laugh..she said 'well that's everyone’s Christmas presents done' 'crud' as my teenage daughter would say...I’ll end up with the foot stuff

Cortone was a real star and so kind for the free tickets too
hope you enjoyed York Andrews

I most certainly did, allsinging. And thank you all for taking the time and trouble to come and meet up with me. It was lovely to meet you all! Thanks again to Cortone for her generosity with the free tickets. A star!Allsinging wrote:
