Hi Andrews,

I am not sure about there being a show but I can think of two things:

"Jerusalem - England's Green and Pleasant Land" is the title of a poem by William Blake and has been set to music by Hubert(?) Parry. It only has two verses, so not long enough for a show, and is often used like a kind of unofficial English national anthem on the last night of the Proms and the whole audience joins in. Listen for yourself:

And then there was a play on in London a few years ago called "Jerusalem" with Mark Rylance in it but as far as I know it did not have a subtitle. Several of my friends went and recommend it very highly but I didn't manage to get tickets so can't say anything from own experience.

Hope that helps

Thank you for your help. I'll do a bit more research. o/

Hi a_person
Had excellent seats both times:
Front stalls, roughly tenth row, at the Royal Festival Hall for the Philharmonia about 10 days ago,
and stalls in the middle for "A Flea in her Ear" (the seats were uncomfortable, but that would have been the case anywhere in the stalls, I think).

Am pretty sure this is the same play. The full title is usually shortened to just Jerusalem.

I'm really annoyed that I'm away next weekend. Would have loved to see Duran Duran. It was my favourite band as a child (please don't make fun of me).

I'll be showing my age if I reveal that I would love some free tickets to Neil Diamond's July concerts at the O2 - love the old crooner.
