Here's my review of Ray Davies. Absolutely LOVED it. Although perhaps the night was enlivened somewhat by me being sent a press wristband granting me entry to a free bar backstage. With that and the sun beaming down I was pretty damn hammered by the time Ray finished.
But what a beautiful night!

Anyone else going to see Nine Inch Nails at the Scala? I'm over the moon that I managed to b*y a ticket yesterday.

Nope but I would of loved to go! How much were tickets?
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

£35 + £ 3.5 booking fee. I was really lucky. The demand for tickets was very high, and the servers were clearly not prepared for it. There's an angry mob on facebook complaining about the booking process and not managing to b*y any tickets.

Good luck with your application.
If you miss out on tickets then don't worry, you'll be able to watch the concert live on the Radio 2 website or on the BBC Red Button. More details can be found on the Radio 2 website.

Epic show! Loved it! NIN played mainly classics. I sang from the beginning till the end. I just didn't know one song (I'm guessing it's from the new album which isn't out yet). Also, I love small venues.

I'm sure you'll have a great time, judging by the videos on youtube of their recent festival performances! I can't believe their not headlining either. I don't even know who Biffy Clyro is.
