Re: what are you upto right now...?
I had 2 girls behind me that were really chatty and one of them had an American accent that made me crinch so much, I even felt that my ears were going to start bleeding, I'm sorry for mentioning it, it might even come across as racist but it isn't at all, i love American series and have nothing against them, is just the fact that I meet a Russian girl a couple of weeks ago that had been living in the USA and she had the same accent and her american accent is so fake and she tries so hard to sound American and not Russian to the point that it gets annoying, and these girls that were sitting behind me and didn't stop talking at all, meaning that from 6pm to 6:30 their voices made those 30 min felt like torture hahahahahahahaBeate wrote:We arrived later than that and got great seats in the back row but we were lucky because a lady offered to swap seats so we could sit together so we got our favourite seats after all!greece wrote:I arrived here at 5:59pm and the cinema was almost full :/ got crap seats now

Pretty sure that was me and my friend! Re: what are you upto right now...?
Perhaps so, but there's no need to be rude about it. Nor do I see any problem in people talking before the start of a screening? We were dead quiet throughout the actual showing of the film, which is what's important.greece wrote:Aww Im sry hun, but this wouldve never happened if I hadn't met this Russian lady That tries so hard to sound American x

Re: what are you upto right now...?
I remember someone here who hadn't met my OH before calling him an idiot on the board for objecting to their loud behaviour before a movie and I had to explain that certain things just unsettle him. We all get upset now and then by people around us, it's human nature. I bet I talked about plenty of my seat neighbours before as well, and they might be secret FMUKers!

Oh I'm sry c_t I didn't mean to be rude at all, I didn't say You were loud or that u talked during the movie, it's just the fact that as I mention before some1 I met few weeks back made me feel uncunfortable about her accent and unfortunately you had a similar one
and of course the problem is mine for not being tolerant
