Yes it was scary. It wasn't so much that I was falling down, it was the flight that made me scared, the fact that if people were in front of me (which luckily at that precise moment, it was entirely empty to give me a smooth ride!) would have fallen like a block of dominoes and in turn hate me for it but also because the bloody thing was moving at the same time!!!!

I'm so sorry you poor thing, hope you're OK now.

Sorry haven't been around for the last week as my cat went missing for 5 days and I was devastated
But after posting loads of flyers, ringing loads of vets and putting up posters Liquorice eventually returned on Sunday evening absolutely starving he must have been locked in somewhere. But so happy now

Cats cause so much anxiety for their owners - I once had a cat that went missing for days and was found locked in a neighbours shed. Another was grabbed by an alsatian and taken into a derelict building my flatmate rescued him but there was a large vet's bill. Even larger was the bill when another fell asleep under a car wheel then ended up with a broken pelvis when the owner drove off. I am almost glad that I no longer have a cat but I strongly suspect that I may turn into a 'mad cat lady' in my old age.

Many years ago our beautiful black and white cat Norman got locked in our neighbours' house (he went in through their catflap and hid in an stairway cupboard and then got trapped when they closed the cupboard door). Children and I had no idea where he was and we were frantic and after much calling and looking we noticed two other cats, Paddy and Kofi, who were friends (yes, our Norman was a lovely cat who had friends come to visit and even share his food!) sitting in neighbours' garden staring up at the back of their house and we heard meowing. Had these two friends not sat and stared, we wonder how long it would have taken to finally discover Norman's prison. I marched over to my neighbours who had told me emphatically that our cat was not there, and asked to look in the cupboard and there was Norman.

So we know the relief you are feeling Diane 65 and welcome back Liquorice. Lots of kibbles are in order!
