I've got my birthday to come pre Christmas and we used to put tree up on my birthday . . . . . I think it was 'cause parents didn't want me to have a party because it was too near Christmas(sneaky!!) :tears: I've tended to stick with that date!
That's a lovely tradition even if it might have started for sneaky reasons lol. No chrimbo tree up here as yet. I'm thinking it might have a 2 year old cranky cherub on the top this year as he's into everything

Anyone knows if there's something interesting in London for Xmas? I'm not talking about markets, but shows or something. I know there are a few things going on at the Southbank Centre but I'm looking for free/cheap events :(
I'm not going home this year, I have to find a nice gift for myself, ha!

Well get ready for next weekend. Its the West End VIP weekend. (very important pedestrian). Oxford St & Regents St are shut down to traffic and are a pedestrian-only zone! Should be lots of fun. We've been several years running and its always good fun. Lots of chocolate, champers, goodie bags, hot choc, mince pies etc. Best of all, totally free......and good exercise too :p

I went last year and don't remember much freebies other than a small can of coke, I think I'm doing something wrong!
