Good film but Shooter is on the other side, with Mark Wahlberg ...no contest!

Off-school today, so treated myself to a double bill today of "No Country for Old Men" and "Dirty Harry". The former is, I have to say, one of the greatest films of recent years, with some stunning performances and a dark, very Coen-Brothers sense of nihilism. The latter disappointed me by just a tiny mark; perhaps it's a little dated.

I remember when I went ot see She's the Man in the cinema in the days when I actually pa*d to see a film cos I love Amanda Bynes. Anyhoo I went ot a weekday afternoon showing with a friend. We arrived late as it just started to find only one couple sitting in a 150 seater screen. Suffice to say I went and sat behind them to the horror of my friend.

Shooter is also a pretty good film.

Watched the first episode when it was on the History Channel and thought it was pretty poor. Didn't bother with the rest of it. My Dad who loves anything to do with JFK couldn't be bothered with it beyond the first one either.

I just like watching Tom Wilkinson, not sure about the editing though

ooh the kennedys sucked big time.

turned a big guy who was really a little odd guy into a plain dull guy.

And also, after you seen Oliver Stone's JFK, anything Kennedy sucks but this doesnt even try.
