Re: The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
Don't worry about the popcorn voucher, I wouldn't have fancied another 15 minutes queue anyway although I got quite hungry but I was more worried about losing the balcony seats so didn't dare venture out, LOL.

Re: The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
So after the crap at Clapham PH when I finally get to the O2 I get 30 f**king minutes of adverts? Are you shitting me? So very unhappy about that. Since I'm in a complainy mood I'll be sending of a letter to Cineworld customer service (did I say letter? WTF? I meant email) stating how absurd it is to expect people to sit through so much crap prior to the film beginning.
Anyway, as for Tintin... holy crap. How bloody incredible did that look? The story was nothing to write home about, but the visuals... sweet Jesus.
Here's my review: http://wp.me/p1LZHn-8l
Hopefully that won't take you to my Contagion write-up.

102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Re: The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
I got there around half one, and after 20 mins waiting for the popcorn, headed straight up to the balcony hoping there were seats available. When i got there, my tickets yet to be seen, there were only 7/8 people in the balcony but before i could sit down, i was asked to leave as the seats were reserved for VIPs!
Unfortunately I managed to miss this film too as i fell asleep before the film even started
I've hardly been able to sleep all week, and today of all days my brain had to switch off.

Holy mackerel, that was you? I saw you being turned away which was entirely unfair as later on peeps were free to wander in. I should have said something but you were gone so quickly. So I was officially a VIP then...evilzadi wrote:I got there around half one, and after 20 mins waiting for the popcorn, headed straight up to the balcony hoping there were seats available. Re: The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
Thanks for another well written review, sf. Enjoyed reading it. I see that my marks closely resembles yours for the last two films too, but my reviews no way resembles your brilliant reviews!
Your blog is looking really good too. Well done.
